Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Fragrant pear on the nose, with a palate showing ripe pear and a slight herbal touch. Off-dry with a medium-long ripe pear finish.
Alex & Priya - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 79/100 with the following review:

Priya: smells like cinnamon flavored candy. Like being in a candy factory. Very sweet but not cloying, with a teensy bit of that cinnamon coming through. Not sure what I'd pair this with but it's an interesting sip. 78 pts

Alex: Interesting medium-sweet drop from the rkatsiteli grape. Unique nose, cinnamon, black licorice, rooibos tea, honeydew melon and pear. Sweet indeed Priya, however for me it is a bit cloying and lacks enough acidity for balance. It is tasty however, and finishes with a wallop of pear! 80 pts
The Georgian winemaking region of Kakheti dates its viticultural roots back thousands of years. Today, it makes 75% of all Georgian wine. Wines are made from the native, ancient Rkatsiteli grape. - Community Wine Reviews
