Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A truly great Chardonnay grown in Ryder Estate's cool climate ocean influenced vineyards - the toasty notes compliment the zesty tropical fruit and intense pear flavors - well balanced acidity. Lovely!
Henney rated this wine as 82/100
From the Central Coast, California Ryder (2015) is a robust Chardonnay with grapes grown on a few of Ryder Estate's cool-climate vineyards; a portion of the wine was aged in oak. quarter of the wine was aged in oak. On the palate, the wine is ripe melon, pear and golden apples. Pair with grilled chicken breast. - Community Wine Reviews
