Natalie's Score: 88/100

Zesty acidity on the palate keeps this big Chardonnay balanced. Big honkin’ chardonnay with attractive aromas of green apples and toasty oak. Full-bodied richness with a smoky seductive weave throughout. This wine is made from Chardonnay grapes grown in the cool climate region of Chile's Casablanca Valley that's temperature-moderated by the ocean. Perfect for roast chicken.

Chardonnay food pairings: barbecued chicken breast, lobster in butter sauce, cheese, pan fried fish.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

From Chile's Casablanca Valley, a rich Chard with buttery vanilla and light tropical fruit aromas, then an explosion on the palate of tropical fruit, citrus rind, buttery caramel and toast. Mouth-watering acidity, creamy mouthfeel and lingering finish.
Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

I tasted this wine at wine club on March 15th 2017. This was our palate cleanser before the serious tasting starts. In keeping with the Chilean theme. Fresh and tropical a nice sipper to start off the evening. Cold fruit cocktail without the cherries. Easy to drink enjoy on its own or with shell fish canapés.
