A full-bodied Californian Cabernet with black currant and cassis notes. Very dry on the palate and finish, creating almost a chalky sensation. Pair with a rare steak.

Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Ray Signorello is well known for premium Napa wine production and the Fuse is his value-priced project that helps make their incredible wines that much more accessible to those that love premium Napa but don't way to pay the ultra premium price. Black core with a deep ruby rib, the 2012 Fuse is packed full of deep concentrated black fruit, dried figs, plums, dark cherries, chocolate, with intriguing tar and charcoal notes. Very well balanced, this Napa Cabernet delivers on quality, complexity, and value! A super smart buy and highly recommended for cellaring. Drink 2015-2025. Tasted September 2015. 92 points. Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Take note for the collector in your life. A delicious Napa Cabernet Sauvignon that will keep rewarding for years to come and not break the budget. Highly concentrated black fruit with mocha, baker's chocolate, baking spices and graphite. Some evident tannins and good acid/fruit ratio. Pair this with a premium cut of beef and it's a match made in heaven.
Tasted: Sept 2015
The name of the winery, Fuse, refers to the partnership among three founders who make this wine from Napa's cool hillside vineyards as well as warmer valley floor. Produced by Ray Signorello, the 2012 vintage of this Cabernet Sauvignon is a robust Californian red wine blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, 5% Syrah and 4% Petit Verdot grapes. - Community Wine Reviews
