Corinna Horton rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A juicy red with a dash of plum & wood. Soft & round, it is among very few peers at this price point. Pairs well with ambition, business talk and long, lost friends. My pick against barbecued meats paired with deep conversations, and friends baring gifts.
Courtney Flood rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Rich and fruity with a light oak that just adds a touch of vanilla. Cherries, raspberries, and you almost wear you can taste the sunlight. Great deal!

Taja Reserva Mähler-Besse Monastrell 2009, D.O., Jumilla, Spain: A robust, tasty red for quaffing not analyzing. Dark fruit aromas and some oak. This wine is made mostly from the Monastrell (Mourvèdre) grape with some Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon. It's aged for about a year in oak. Perfect for movie night.
