Clos de Gat Ayalon Valley Unfined & Unfiltered Meritage 2007

Judean Hills, Israel

Reviewed: May 12, 2012

$47.95

My Review: 88-90 ; this wine is WAY overpriced - it should have been priced around the $25 range wines, not $48. The wine is a good Cabernet blend (with Merlot and Petite Verdot). Full body, concentrated with dark cherries and plums flavors. Decant for 1-1.5 hours. Score: 88/100

My Review: Relatively fairly priced for that great level of Zin. Full body. Meaty. Deep. Balanced. Good acidity. Long pleasant finish. Score: 90/100
