Succulent, juicy and meaty with big, black fruit aromas and flavours. Judicious use of oak, good balance, very tasty.
Tempranillo food pairings: roast leg of lamb, suckling pig.

|Sean O'Regan - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:|
Jan 29, 2014: Dark ruby with a lovely nose of red fruit, currant and dried cherry, wood spice, leather and chocolate. Palate shows raspberry, cherry, currant, cedar and spice with juicy acidity and grippy, dusty tannins. Medium weight and finish, I would have easily guessed a quality Rioja. Decant for at least an hour and serve with grilled beef with some marbling, firm cheeses or turkey pot pie. Just a notch up from the also excellent 2009 vintage.
