From the Piedmont wine region, Villa Sparina 2020 Gavi Di Gavi is a mouth-watering, medium-bodied Italian white wine produced from the Cortese wine grape. Fragrant with limoncello aromas, dry with lemon-lime zest, stone fruit, white florals, pepper spice and stony mineral flavours on the palate. Chill and enjoy it with all things seafood.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A fun and flavourful Gavi in an engaging bottle. From Villa Sparina winery in Piedmont’s Gavi region and from the Cortese grape, this Gavi di Gavi is incredibly fragrant with floral aromas of daffodil and lily, citrus and very distinct stony minerals. Flavours show hints of grapefruit, crisp light green apple and delicate nuances of mingling saline infused stone-fruit. Light and lively with bright acidity with a medium body and lingering minerality on the light to medium finish. An ideal seafood sipper, enjoy with herbed fish or grilled calamari. Cheers! - tasted July 2022
