A jaw-dropping red with lovely aromas of black cherry and kirsch with some dark spices and smoke on the finish. Full-bodied and smooth. This is a stunning wine for the money. Pair with a pepper steak or Mediterranean rubbed chicken. Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: rich meat-based pasta dishes. Best Beef Wine

Very deep ruby colour with aromas of blackberry tart, freshly ground black pepper, cassis, plum, smoke and sandalwood. Dry and very fruity, but the cedary tannins come in to give it balance and structure. A thunderous wine at a terrific price, it will give plenty of enjoyment. Cellar it 2-3 years, or enjoy it tonight. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, Nov. 2012
