Thorn-Clarke Terra Barossa Shiraz 2009 Wine Review
Natalie's Score: 89/100Vintages Wine Panel: Opaque ruby with a purple rim. Big, bombastic aromas of blackberry, blueberry, black cherry, milk chocolate, black pepper and tar. Full bodied, concentrated and flavour-packed, with velvety texture and ripe tannins. Spicy dark fruit mid-palate leads to a layered, long finish. Cellar 1-3 years or enjoy tonight. My note: Blackberry seduction with a hint of mint. Full-bodied, beautifully layered. Love the savoury finish.
Shiraz food pairings: grilled steak in a peppercorn-mushroom sauce.

Big aromas of lush blackberry, blueberry, earth, mint and pepper. Dark fruit flavours, dark chocolate, turning a bit spicy at mid-palate. Full-bodied, chewy. Dry. Ageable, but ready to drink now. Well-made Shiraz, but is bit too bitter for my taste. Score: 88+ Tasted Oct/2011.
