Fantastic value this fantastic 2013 full-bodied 82% Cabernet Sauvignon and 18% Malbec blockbuster from The Hess Collection. On the nose there are pronounced aromas of white florals, anise, espresso, ripe dark berries. The wine is dry, beautifully built, silk and satiny with ripe blueberry and red berry flavours, licorice, cedar spice and espresso flavours finishing long. Enjoy now and for the next five years. Pair with a rare rib roast.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: BBQ beef ribs, grilled lamb, sausage and chick pea casserole.

Reviews and Ratings

The Hess Collection 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is on of the best this producer has created. The Mount Vedder estate 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is a full-bodied blockbuster blend of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon and 18% Malbec. Look for ripe blueberry and red berry flavours, anise, cedar spice and espresso flavours and a long finish. Enjoy now and for the next five years. Pair with a rare rib roast. - Community Wine Reviews
