Baked cherries and kirsch on the nose with a warm, peppery finish. Full-bodied and tasty. Great value. This winery has been making classic wine in the heart of the Barossa Valley since 1944. In Australia, this blend of Shiraz and Grenache grapes along with a dash of the flagship Portuguese grape Touriga Nacional is called the Gamekeeper’s Reserve. Some pepper on the finish is just right for that grilled steak.

Shiraz Grenache food pairings: fettuccine carbonara, meaty lasagna, grilled pepper steak, lamb cutlets, onion dip.

Named for the traditional custodians of the Barossa lands. Vibrant dark red with a purple hue depicts the young age of this wine. A blend of sassy Aussie Shiraz and fruity Grenache with a "splash" of Touriga Nacional.
Touriga is a major varietal in Portugal and known for it's concentrated black fruit and rose properties.
Plays a big part in the blends used for Ports.
Red berry fruits, cherry compote, plum, brown spice, pepper, floral notes and herbaceous. Lovely lingering pepper finish. Smooth and mildly tannic so best enjoyed now. Full-bodied. XD Great value!
Pair with game meats, grilled red meat, BBQ hamburgers
