Campfire smoke and black fruit on the nose and palate of this robust, polished Californian red wine made from the state's iconic Zinfandel grape. Loaded with black raspberry and cherry on the finish. The vines for this wine are 50 to 110 years old, which concentrates the fruit and flavours. This is a traditional field blend of mostly Zinfandel, but also some Petite Sirah. Pair with hearty and spicy meat dishes.

Reviews and Ratings

From Sonoma County, California, St. Francis 2014 is a medium-bodied vibrant red made from old vines Zinfandel. This wine is zesty with lots of toasty oak notes on the nose, crushed raspberry and spicy flavours on the palate. Drink now and for the next three years. - Community Wine Reviews
