Reviews and Ratings

Deborah Podurgiel - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Lovely as always. Sperling Vineyards Vision Series Pinot Noir Rosé is medium-plus-bodied and meaty with earthy fresh violets, rosehip jam, anise, cinnamon and pepper spice flavours finishing on a briny mineral note with balanced acidity, silky and sultry on the palate. A smooth and elegant 100% PN rosé made for food. Chill and enjoy it with veal medallions or a Ris de veau in a rich wild mushroom sauce. Tasted August 2022.

Produced from Pinot Noir clone 777, this block is favoured for its slightly darker skinned berries, strawberry and bramble fruit aromas. Grapes were hand-harvested, whole cluster pressed, and fermented in two barrels. Sperling Vineyard are certified organic by Ecocert.

Retasted March 2023: Still so fresh, zesty, fruity and bright with tutti fruiti, pink and spring floral aromas, with strawberry leather, raspberry cotton candy and minerally flavours on the palate and a caramel kiss on a very long finish. A complex, elegant and beautifully crafted Pinot Noir rosé showing its graceful pedigree as it ages. Drinking beautifully now.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lovely rose with aromas of ripe, almost candied strawberry, orange, and zesty lime. Medium bodied, smooth with medium+ acidity, vibrant citrus, rounded berry notes, and a slight creamy texture. Enjoy with grilled or cedar planked salmon.
