Reviews and Ratings

Alex & Priya - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Alex: Structured and very complex for the cost is this Vino Nobile. An earthy-herbal amalgam of dried orange peel, clove, black licorice, wet mushroom, black cherry and potted wet earth represents the nose. Unapologetically rustic and old school palate is laced with purity and savoury delight. A host of chewy tannin on the finish, try it now with herb-crusted lamb or hang on another 5 years for it to soften and gain further complexity. A great buy. 91pts
Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is made from 100% Sangiovese. This wine needs food and grilled Italian sausages and roast lamb would be a perfect complement to it. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
