Natalie's Score: 90/100

Juicy and mouth-watering with aromas of tart dark fruit. The 2010 vintage was a strong one for Bordeaux and Seglas is a much-respected winery. I expected more depth and richness of fruit from this vintage and producer. However, this is still a solid wine.

Food pairings: game burgers, beef steak, rack of lamb.

Reviews and Ratings

Wineboy rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Segla seems to change with the each set of characteristics of varous vintages of Bordeaux. Lovely nose, lovely complexity in a medium weight frame. From start to finish this wine impresses at lower power levels. The only sour note I have is from the price which has jumped in the last year - more a comment on the Chateau and not the wine.
Ségla (2010) is the second wine of Château Rauzan-Ségla; 2010 was a strong vintage for Bordeaux and Seglas -- a much-respected winery. I expected more depth and richness of fruit from this vintage and producer. However, this is still a solid wine. Great value for an elegant wine. - Community Wine Reviews
