Beautifully balanced and refreshing Italian Pinot Grigio from one of the country's best-known producers of this wine. Santa Margherita was, in fact, the first to make Pinot Grigio back in 1961, and has led the way ever since. Crisp and lively with racy acidity for seafood and shellfish. Also works on its own as a chilled aperitif.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This Pinot Grigio has been a bestseller in Ontario for years and for good reason. Consistenly delicious and always refreshing. Aromas of lemo-lime with a hint of minerality. Light, crisp, refreshing on the palate, with lovely balanced citrus and a clean finish. Enjoy with any light seafood dishes.
L.J. Palmer WSET 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Medium lemon green coloured wine, with pleasing aromas of apple, pear, peach, Meyer lemon, melon, nectarine, mineral and wet stone. The wine is dry, medium bodied, with medium plus acidity and medium alcohol. The palate has intense flavours of pear, mineral and citrus pith. Enjoyable any time with dishes ranging from oysters on the half shell, seafood, cheese fondue, and grilled chicken and shrimp.
Deborah Podurgiel - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Love the freshness of this mouth-watering and bone-dry Pinot Grigio from Valdadige DOC. Santa Margherita 2020 Pinot Grigio is so bone-dry it's like whisper on the palate with medium intensity aromas and flavours of fresh melon, yellow apple, fresh cut hay and lemon zest. Chill and enjoy with a pasta Primavera or seafood Alfredo. Tasted February 2021.
