Terrific wine for the price! Robust red yet smooth and supple. Aromas of dark, smoky fruit. Excellent party wine.

Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot food pairings: barbecued steak, roast lamb, gourmet hamburgers.

Darlene Myers CAPS Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Definitely good value for the money. I found this to be easy to drink. A nice medium to full bodied wine with flavors of raspberry and cassis. A great little Wednesday night wine! Would go good with beef or lamb.
The 2013 growing season was characterized by extended cool, dry periods, followed by short warmer spells. The wine starts with a burst of juicy dark berry fruit, milk chocolate and dark plums. Cooling mint and blackberry leaf refresh the palate and soft velvet tannins provide a long, satisfying finish. Drink this wine in its youth to enjoy its vibrant fruit flavours.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
