Reviews and Ratings

Wineboy rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

The internet says this wine is 60% SV, 40% Syrah. Yet, it tastes as if the percentages could be inverted or even more Syrah than 60%. Berries, berries on the nose and palate. Add in a bit of smoke on the palate and you've got a more complex wine than the price would indicate. A touch of acidity from the Sangiovese completes this good buy.
Rocca Delle Macìe Sasyr 2014 is a medium-bodied Sangiovese, Syrah wine blend from the Tuscany wine region. Great value here under $16. This is a clean and crisp red with dark berry, citrus zest and nutty flavours on the palate. Easy to enjoy now. Pair with grilled veal chops. - Community Wine Reviews
