Rocca Delle Macìe Riserva Chianti 2009 Wine Review
Natalie's Score: 89/100Terrific and juicy with luscious fleshy ripe dark fruit and some mocha. This is a great value for a chianti of this quality. There's some black cherry, cedar smoke and vanilla on a long finish. Perfect for pizza night!
Chianti food pairings: meaty lasagna, roasted lamb, grilled steaks, pasta with red cream sauce, turkey. Perfect Pasta and Tomato Sauce Wine

I''ve enjoyed previous vintages of this Chianti. I especially liked this 2009 Riserva Chianti. Medium + body with succulent dark berry and cherry, mocha, vanilla, toasted oak. Smooth, long cherry and vanilla finish. Mild tannins. Perfect with our lasagne. Food friendly, this beautiful Toscana wine would pair nicely with just about any Italian meat or pasta course.
|This Chianti Classico Riserva has deep layers of spice, chocolate, wild berry, cherry, licorice and black pepper. The mouthfeel is smooth, long and fresh. Score: 90. Source: Monica Larner, Wine Enthusiast, Oct. 2012|
