Lots of fresh, sweet red cherries on the nose with layers of dark berries, plums, cake spice and cracked pepper on the palate. Pair with gourmet burgers.

Reviews and Ratings

From California's Alexander Valley, Ridge's Geyserville 2016 is a medium-plus-bodied red blend of 73% Zinfandel, 17% Carignane, 7% Petite Sirah and 3% Alicante Bouschet. Aromas of ripe red cherries and sweet cake spice greet the nose and on the palate, this flavoursome red is lush with laytered blackberry, dark plum and oak spice flavours. Decant for one hour prior to pouring with a grilled rib steak, but the wine would also benefit from a few years cellaring. - Community Wine Reviews
