Orin Swift's Eight Years In The Desert 2021 is a dry and full-bodied red wine blend of Zinfandel, Syrah, Petite Sirah and Grenache grapes. Fragrant with ripe blackberry, plum and vanilla it is intensely rich and concentrated with blackberry, dark chocolate, herbs, bay and smoky vanilla flavours fresh on the palate. Tannins are velvety. Drink or hold through 2030. The story goes that Orin Swift Cellars was barred from making any Zinfandel wines for eight years; hence the "Eight Years in the Desert" label.
