Very yummy! Full-bodied with mouth-watering juiciness and supple layers of fleshy dark plums. Absolutely incredible for this price.

Reviews and Ratings

The grapes were sourced from vineyards in the Paarl, Durbanville, Philadelphia and Stellenbosch regions. The vineyards are grown on south-westerly facing slopes, some 60m to 80m above sea level.

The grapes were harvested by hand and machine at 24º Balling during February and March. The fruit was crushedand fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at 25ºC to 28ºC for a period of two weeks. Upon completion of malolactic fermentation the wine was matured in a combination of new-, second- and third-fill wood
for a period of 12 to 18 months.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
