A great-value Cabernet Sauvignon rosé under $15 from the Coastal Region wine region in South Africa from Cabernet Sauvignon wine grapes intended to make this Rosé. Dry, medium-plus-bodied with bell pepper, red berry, cherry and savoury herb flavours on the palate. Great acidity for food, pair this one with grilled chops.

Reviews and Ratings

Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

If you lean toward a dry, non-fruity rosé stock up on this one. Dry and savoury, this is light to medium weight with a medium finish. Try it with grilled shrimp, light pasta or gourmet pizza. Good value. Tasted May 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

A pale shade of pink close to salmon. Subtle white cherry and berry aromatics. Crisp and fresh with good, tart acidity. Simple palate with a distinct lemon flavour. Finishes clean. Good for appetizers alfresco at a summer barbecue.
Mulderbosch 2018 is dry and zesty Cabernet Sauvignon rosé from the Coastal wine region in South Africa. Savoury and smooth with dried red, dark berry and bell pepper flavours on the palate with a zesty citrus finish. First released in 1999, Mulderbosch's was one of the first to produce a rosé from Cabernet Sauvignon wine grapes that were meant to be a rosé and not a by-product of a red wine grape. Pair with chicken or lamb kebabs from the grill. - Community Wine Reviews
