Big and juicy with pleasingly tart and vibrant cherry aromas and flavours. Mouth-watering acidity is fantastic for a range of dishes. Smooth and medium- to full-bodied. Very tasty. Absolutely needs food. Made by the film director of many famous movies, including several of the Harry Potter series.

Pinot Noir food pairings: mushroom risotto, planked salmon, frittata.

Reviews and Ratings

Martha Kelly AIWS - CS rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Pale ruby in colour, with flavours of raspberry jam, dark cherry, cola, cedar, black pepper, vanilla, toast, and savoury notes of beetroot, mushroom and wet leaves.
The refreshing acidity and soft tannins carry the intense flavours through on the medium plus length, warming finish.
Drink now, or cellar until 2016.
Pair with beef stew, burgers, and gourmet pizza.
Date tasted: November 2013.
This full-bodied red wine is bio-gro certified and the grapes came from three vineyard sites. The wine was fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged 11 months in old French barrels. Source: Winery

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
