From the Casablanca Valley D.O., Matetic Eq Granite 2016 Pinot Noir is a fresh, smooth, medium-bodied, spicy PN with grapes sourced from Valle Hermoso, 10 kilometres from the Pacific Ocean. Because of this maritime influence, the cherry, red berry fruit flavours on this wine are fresh and ripe with fresh acidity and finishes long on the palate. The wine was matured for 14 months in French oak barrels. Lightly chill and pour with grilled chicken dishes.

Pinot Noir food pairings: veal stew with sautéed vegetables, roast quail wrapped in prosciutto, beef bourguignon, grilled tuna with a pepper crust, pork tenderloin.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
