Love the blackberry, ripe cassis and mocha nose on this unusual red blend of 70% Corvina and 30% Malbec grapes from Argentina. Dry and lush with dark plum compote with anise, vanilla, mocha and baking spice flavours on the palate. Tannins are firm and decant this full-bodied red for two hours prior to pouring with a meaty lasagne dinner. Or hold for a year or two.

Corvina Malbec food pairings: grilled venison steak, roast partridge, veal Porterhouse.

From Tupungato, Uco Valley wine region, Masi's Tupungato Corbec 2015 Corvina and Malbec red wine blend is made in the appassimento style. Full-bodied and lush with incredible depth of blackberry compote, licorice, mocha and spicy flavours on the palate. Tannins are firm with considerable backbone as well.
