A wild berry, feral nose with notes of underbrush. Tart, herbal, rustic and robust. Decant 1-2 hours and serve it up with a big juicy steak.

Food pairings: rare steaks, grilled mushrooms, beef fajitas.

This wine was awarded 2 (out of 3) and Coup de Coeur designation in the 2013 Guide Hachette. Dark cherry, blue plum, wild blueberry and cured meat aromas really fill the nose. Flavourful and meaty with big fleshy tannins. The mouth-watering sour edge on the finish is awesome. This is a fantastic food wine. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, May 2013
