A second vintage of this classic Chardonnay, full-bodied, rich and layered with ripe tropical fruits, pineapple, baked apple, perfumed spring blossoms, lemon custard and subtle vanilla flavours on the palate. Pour with smoked salmon eggs Benedict or lobster bisque.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Aromas of creamy lemon curd, golden apple, honey, warm apple pie spice, and a slight mineral hint. Full bodied with a smooth texture, creamy, but with tons of mouthwatering acidity, overall very well balanced. Ripe anf flavourful on the palate, with mouthwatering orchard fruit, more of that structured minerality, and a long finish. Enjoy with classic roast chicken, butternut squash, scallops or lobster.
Le Clos Jordanne Grand Clos 2018 Chardonnay is a full-bodied, bone-dry Chardonnay richly-layered with apple cobbler, lemon pudding, baking spice, mineral and well-integrated toasty oak spice flavours balanced with vibrant acidity. So perfect in every way. Pair with lobster bisque and beurre brun sautéed scallops. - Community Wine Reviews
