Blackberry liqueur aromas and richness with a pleasant bitter tarry bite on the finish that refreshes. Full-bodied layered. Great price. Food pairings: rack of lamb.

The Lavau family moved from St-Émilion to the Rhône Valley in the early 1960s. Today, Benoit and Frédéric Lavau work in partnership with 300 growers to produce wines such as this elegant and complex blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. Layered blueberry, spice, tobacco and lavender on the nose. Dry, structured and well balanced with good echoes of the nose, and a peppery finish. Source: Vintages Wine Panel
