Minty with fleshy blackberry aromas. Rich flavours of cassis on the palate. Full-bodied and smooth with mouth-watering juiciness. Great for hearty meat dishes.

Reviews and Ratings

Darlene Myers - CAPS Student rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A juicy Cabernet Sauvignon with menthol flavors and notes of cassis and leather. Ripe dark fruits and good tannins with decent structure make for a wine that would pair well with steak, beef stew or your favorite beef dish.
Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

This premium, full bodied wine is an outstanding example of South Australian Cabernet Sauvignon, displaying intense berry and cassis characters, subtle integration of vanillin tannins imparted from French oak maturation, through a smooth finish. An ideal accompaniment to most red meats, game and cheeses. A wine that will develop further with cellaring.

Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

Ce vin corsé de grand calibre incarne en beauté les qualités du cabernet sauvignon: un bouquet étoffé de baies et de cassis, une assimilation subtile de tannins vanillés résultant d'un séjour en futs francais et une finale moelleuse. S'accorde

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
