From the Paso Robles wine region, J. Lohr Hilltop 2020 is produced from sustainably grown Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Malbec grapes. The majority of grapes for this vintage were sourced from the cool-climate El Pomar District with some from the warmer Creston District. The wine is a mouthful of cassis, black olive and spicy flavours on the palate. This half-bottle size is drinking beautifully now and perfect for one to enjoy on its own with a grilled striploin steak.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
