Generous with black cherry, somewhat tart but pleasing. Medium-bodied and supple. Good price. This is the pinot featured in Sideways. Pinot Noir food pairings: prime rib. Best Beef Wine

A few seconds’ enjoyment of the deep and complex aromas of dark cherry, vanilla bean, mocha and tilled earth and you’ll be tethered to the bottle for the duration. It has big and bold flavours, but they don’t overshadow the contoured finesse one wants in Pinot. A rush of tannin gives support and focus to the finish. Pair with prime rib, and put your feet up – you are home, after all. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, March 2013
