Grgich Hills Estate 2016 Merlot is produced from estate grown grapes from a certified biodynamic by Demeter winery. Spicy on the nose with wild herbs and tobacco leaf aromas; smooth and spicy on the palate with red currant, plum, dark cherry, finishing with juicy red berry and food-friendly acidity. Tannins are firm and structured. Pour with an equally juicy roast of pork.

Merlot food pairings: rack of lamb, braised beef, bison steaks.
