Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Medium+ body. Dark ruby colour. Good value Chianti. Black fruit, violets, oak, smoke nose. Palate gave me some licorice notes as well. Enjoyed @zazaza pizza in the Glebe. Paired nicely with my Crazy Horse pizza. Pair with anti-pasto,proscuitto, veal, chicken or Italian cheeses
Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

Gabbiano Chianti as a subtle nose with mushroom aromas. The sip is bright with red cherry and ripe cherry tomato. There are elements of red licorice of pepper in the medium length.

Gabbiano Chianti présente un nez subtil avec des arômes de champignons. Il est brillant avec des saveurs de cerises rouges et de tomates mures. On retrouve des éléments de réglisse rouge et de poivre dans sa longueur moyenne.

A fine ruby red color with a floral bouquet of violet on a fruity background of red wild berries. A dry and
mellow taste great freshness, soft tannins and a medium to full body, long taste with a sweet finish.
