Classic Kiwi Savvy nose here: herbal yes, but not too grassy. Incredibly mouth-watering and juicy with fresh notes of lime, lemon and white grapefruit. Hard to believe the alcohol level is so low with so much flavour here, but yay! Try this with fresh seafood or shellfish to keep the other doctor away ;)

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: salads, seafood, pasta with cream-based sauce.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Delightful tropical fruit, floral and herbaceous aromas with lemon and white asparagus added on palate. Dry, low alcohol(9.5 %). Completely refreshing, a summer white for your shrimp salads and shellfish.
Tasted May 2017
New Zealand's South Island, Forrest The Doctors' (2016) is a mouthwatering Sauvignon Blanc with fresh herbs, asparagus and intense gooseberry on the nose and palate. Like a salad in a glass. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
