Fielding Estate Winery Unoaked Chardonnay 2008
Fielding Estate Winery Unoaked Chardonnay 2008 Wine Review
A fresh, lively, mouth-watering white with mercifully no oak. What you get is pure fruit essence and refreshment. Lovely notes of green apple and white peach. This wine was a Double Gold winner at the 2010 All-Canadian Wine Awards. Incredible price. 4.4/5 Chardonnay food pairings: linguine con vongole.

2011 vintage. Melon and kiwi aromas from the glass. Quite flavourful with more melon and kiwi on the palate. Dry, medium-bodied with fresh acidity. Tasted June/2012.
|Well paced, well made and well priced – it gained its final half star on value. There are aromas and flavours galore with ripe Bosc pear, lemon-lime citrus and an underlying sense of slate and earthy tones. Mid weight and nicely textured, it keeps its focus throughout the crisp and refreshing finish. Sip on its own. Score: 4 ½ (out of 5) Source: Vic Harradine, winecurrent.com|
