Vintages Wine Panel: The "G" wine, as it's known at Featherstone, is a benchmark for Gewürztraminer in Niagara. It captures the typical perfumed aromas of rosewater, spices and lychee fruit leading to a dry, medium-bodied wine with a soft texture and an exotic flavour profile. This is an expressive beauty to simply enjoy as a refreshing summer sipper on the patio. My note: This is an extraordinary wine, and perhaps the best Canadian gewurztraminer that I've tasted. It's luscious with an incredible viscous texture that wraps around your tongue. Lovely aromas of rose petal and lychee. Double yum.

Gewurztraminer food pairings: Asian dishes, vegetarian entrees or roast chicken, spicy, but not-too-hot Thai, Indian or Chinese dishes.
