Vintages Wine Panel: Gewurztraminer absolutely thrives in the vineyards of Alsace. The terroir is exactly what this aromatic, intense grape needs to produce balanced, deeply delicious wines that are both great sippers and excellent food matchers. My note: Soooo very pretty! Floral, lychee and white peach: wow this is stunning! It may be an acquired taste, but once you acquire it, you’ll be happier. Full-bodied, unctuous (love suing that word) and beautifully textured.
Gewurztraminer food pairings: spiced Asian food, smoked fish, pork tenderloin, grilled prawns, roast stuffed chicken.
