A spectacular and robust red with aromas of black fruit, smoke and tar and rich, full-bodied weight. A long, satisfying finish. This one will do very well in the cellar. Pair with hearty meat dishes.

Food pairings: prime rib, lamb with rosemary.

Reviews and Ratings

Gabriel Israel rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

What an outstanding blend. If you close your eyes and taste this wine, you would easily confuse it with a rich red wine. Not much on the nose (I think it needs more time), but the palate is HUGE, complex, full of enjoyment. Went beautifully with french bouillabaisse.
