Sour cherry and smoky oak aromas on this Italian Chianti red wine. Full-bodied and smooth. The grapes for this wine come from a cooperative of more than 200 grape growers.

Chianti food pairings: barbecued pizza with pepperoni and double-smoked bacon, tomato and basil salad with pasta and grilled mushroom caps.

Mike rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Slightly Bitter and then smooth earthy tones. Went well with pentil pork. I liked it a lot. We had 2012 vintage.
This winery is located between Florence, Pisa and Siena n the Chianti region of Tuscany. The name is a tribute to Leonardo daVinci. The wine won a Gold Medal at the 2013 Tasters Guild International. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
