An attractive Chilean Chardonnay for the money. Medium- to full-bodied quaffer with notes of green apples, peach, butter and some smoke with mouth-watering acidity. Lovely baked bread notes on the finish. Great value. Pair with roast chicken or turkey.

Reviews and Ratings

Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A medium bodied Chardonnay that has lots of minerality. On the nose, there are aromas of ripe peach, lychee and limestone. On the palate, it has fresh acidity with flavours of lemon, peach, tropical fruit, and a nice lingering finish.

Tasted November 2017
This Chardonnay is produced by famed wine producer, Concha Y Toro The Chardonnay wine grapes for Marqués De Casa Concha (2015) came from the cool-climate Limari Valley. Pale yellow in the glass, the wine is medium-plus bodied, rich and ripe with white pear and toasted hazelnuts. The wine was aged 12 months in oak barrel and there is a refreshing acidity on this well-priced Chardonnay. - Community Wine Reviews
