Natalie's Score: 93/100

Black pepper and fleshy black plum aromas on the nose of this blockbuster Argentine red wine, with some cassis and dark spice on a long finish. Layered, complex and deep, like math, but without the work. This red hails from one of Argentina's top producers. This wine benefits from the guidance of the famous consulting winemaker Michele Rolland. Pair this wine with asada (Argentine-style barbecued meats). Wow.

Food pairings: grilled lamb chops, liver and onions.

Reviews and Ratings

Kevin rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

excellent!
Alexandre Craig DWS, FWS rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

As much as I tend to be a tad skittish about Michel Rolland-consulted wines, I rather enjoy this one, and I've certainly enjoyed some old bottles in Mendoza. He gives it the Bordeaux treatment of long extraction and French barriques, resulting in blackcurrant, vanilla and nutty oak aromas. Well-structured with firm, bracing tannins, this is one for the cellar. Considering the price, tremendous value.
