Vintages Wine Panel: The building, gardens and vineyards that make up Chateau St. Jean are an architectural treat – stylish, elegant, gracious and inviting – just like their wines. The 2006 Cabernet is a perfect reflection of this. Made in a grand style, it offers a layered and complex nose and palate. Well structured, elegant and loaded with expressions of pure fruit, it is simply lovely. The ideal companion for barbecued gourmet burgers and grilled steaks or more elaborate and formal roasts. My note: Classic California Cabernet and stupendously structured. Rich and carefully hand-crafted for maximum and prolonged pleasure.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: barbecued gourmet burgers, grilled steaks, roasts.
