Here’s an excellent and accessible example of the fine 2008 Bordeaux vintage. This wine took home a Gold Medal at the 2010 Concours de Bordeaux. Lovely and deep aromas of dark fruit, coffee and toast on the nose, with bright acidity adding some lifted redcurrant and plum character on the palate. Softly textured with an elegant finish. Enjoy over the next 4-5 years. Source: Vintages Wine Catalogue.
