Beautifully balanced and elegant with great finesse in this Bordeaux red wine blend of Cabernet and Merlot grapes. Smoky with fleshy black fruit. Great for this price. Pair with rare filet mignon. Racy mouth-watering acidity. Great cellar candidate as well.

Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

From Bordeaux's incredible 2010 vintage, this accessibly priced Grand Vin de Bordeaux shows a complex nose of dark berries, plum, pencil shavings, leather, tomato leaf, and cigar box. Medium bodied with layers of flavours, this is a great Bordeaux to enjoy in the near term with savoury dishes. Tasted June 2015. 91 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Produced by Marengo Père & Fils, this Bordeaux red wine blend is recommended to pair with fine cheeses by chef Rene Hachez, the chef of la Commandarie at the Hotel la Maison de Rhodes in Troyes, France. Also goes with braised veal chops. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
