Château De Ségure 2018 is a full-bodied, rich and concentrated red wine blend produced from Old Vines Carignan, Grenache and Syrah from Fitou. Spicy on the nose with bright red berry aromas, ripe, dark fruit, cracked pepper and toast oak spice flavours on the palate. Tannins are grippy. Pour with well-marbled grilled meats or with a cassoulet.

Food pairings: veal medallions, roasted pork loin, prime rib, coq au vin.

Reviews and Ratings

Château De Ségure 2018 is a full-bodied Old Vines Carignan, Grenache and Syrah from Fitou. Fragrant with dark berry and plummy aromas on the nose; dry, full-bodied and intense with ripe dark fruit, earthy violets, spiced plum and cracked pepper flavours vibrant on the palate. Tannins are grippy. Pour with well-marbled grilled meats, or let it mellow out in cellar for two-to-three years. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
