Wow, this is terrific for Bordeaux at this price from a strong vintage! Aromas of blackberry and cassis with some toasty oak. Decant 1 hour and pair with a juicy rare steak.

Food pairings: lamburgers, gourmet hamburgers, roasted root vegetables.

Reviews and Ratings

Château De Marsan (2014) is a 75% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon rich and robust savoury red wine blend from wine grapes sourced from the Côtes De Bordeaux Cadillac. This is a strong vintage at a fantastic price. This estate began producing wine in the 17th century. Pierre de Marsan was a descendant of the Viscounts of Marsan, founders of the town of Mont-de-Marsan in the Landes department. In 1630, he married a wealthy heiress with a large estate in Lestiac. The rest is history. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
