Reviews and Ratings

A full-bodied southern French red wine made from Syrah grapes. Aromas of fleshy black plums, cassis and berries. Finished with smoke and pepper. Pair with grilled meats. MINE: The 2012 vintage of the French red wine IGP Côtes Catalanes Infiniment de l'Ou is created from 100% Syrah grapes. The vine yield is kept low at just 15 hectolitres per hectare, to concentrate fruit flavours. The wine is then matured in new oak barrels. OTHER: Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review: Aromas of smoke and black fruit with plum compote, pepper and roasted meat flavors on the palate. Tasted and paired with pulled pork sandwiches in Sept 2016. OTHER: : The blockbuster in the lineup (or one of them anyways) is the 2015 IGP Cotes Catalanes Infiniment de l'Ou. Made from 100% Syrah that will spend 12-15 months in new oak, its inky purple color is followed by terrific notes of wood smoke, peppered meats and currants/black raspberry-like fruit. Full-bodied, pure, structured and balanced, it will have 10-15 years of overall longevity. Drink Date: 2016-2031. Score - 92-94 (Jeb Dunnuck, robertparker.com, April 27, 2016). - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
