Elegant and well-priced for Bordeaux. Dark fruit and smoke with a good tannic grip. Full-bodied and balanced. Try it with filet mignon after you decant for 1-2 hours.

This wine was a Gold Medal winner at the Concours des Grands Vins de France (Mâcon) in 2012. Bright garnet in colour. The nose is quite intense and there are rich aromas and flavours of blackcurrant and warm toast. The tannins are well integrated with the oak. This is a wine that will drink very well for 4 or 5 years. Score: HKK. Source: Guide Hachette, 2013
